Alan Gannaway has over 25 years experience in the entertainment industry as an actor, musician, MC and creator of wildly entertaining and fascinating public event characters. Alan has worked extensively in theatre as a performer, musician, writer and lighting and props designer with the Actors Company, Hunter Valley Theatre Company, Freewheels, Zeal, Death Defying Theatre and Sidetrack amongst others.

His stable of characters includes such event favourites as The Style Police, Dog Squad, The Baroques, Raining Men and The Garbage Bag People.

For the past 12 years he has focused on public and corporate events with the dynamic corporate duo, Daters Gannaway, the fun and festive Firecrackers Live and as a solo performer and as an MC. He has fascinated crowds at parties, fairs, seminars and conferences for IBM, Macquarie Bank, Freehills Lawyers, RBS, ODMA, Unilever, P&O, KPMG, Deloittes, Lend Lease and many others.

He’s also performed at the Corporate Village and Athletes village for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and internationally in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
